Posts Tagged ‘Storefront’ Austin Bazaar is partnering with Latin Percussion (aka LP) to host a special event, Santana’s Percussionists Clinic, on Thursday, September 15. Featuring percussionists Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow of the Latin rock band Santana, the special event will be held at Austin Bazaar’s new brick-and-mortar storefront on W. Howard Lane in North Austin. Two of LP’s best-known spokesmen, Perazzo plays timbales and Rekow plays congas in Santana. They each have their own respective line of LP signature instruments, Karl Perazzo Signature Timbales and Raul Rekow Signature Congas. Free gear giveaways all weekend!  This weekend marks the grand opening of the new Austin Bazaar retail space at 2306 Howard Lane between I-35 and Mopac in North Austin. While we’ve been open for a few weeks now, it’s been a soft launch so far. In contrast, this weekend (i.e., Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18) we’re opening big-time. Come by our grand opening not only to check out Austin’s newest music store; come by also for free — yes, free! — gear giveaways. It’s going to be a full-on celebration, make no mistake.
