Co-sponsored by Latin Percussion, Remo, Toca, and KMC, the one-night-only event is a clinic in which Perazzo will perform and discuss Latin percussion. Originally, the event was planned to feature fellow Santana percussionist Raul Rekow, though unfortunately he will be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Featuring percussionists Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow of the Latin rock band Santana, the special event will be held at Austin Bazaar’s new brick-and-mortar storefront on W. Howard Lane in North Austin. Two of LP’s best-known spokesmen, Perazzo plays timbales and Rekow plays congas in Santana.
